What customers say?

“ Ordered my all time fave spicy tuna spicy sashimi and salmon sashimi. We also ordered uni sashimi (sea urchin) - only for those with adventurous palette as it has an odd taste. ”

“ Japanese restaurant in Tuscany Estates, McKinley Hill, Taguig Operates daily, 11 AM to 11 PM. Offers typical Japanese fare: sushi/sashimi, ramen, udon/soba, maki rolls, bentos, etc. Variety and decent range Lots of options: from sushi, sashimi, rolls/maki, to bentos, ramen, tempura. Gives many choices. Bento boxes are a highlight: good variety in one set. Ambience The restaurant has a cozy feel, with Japanese touches (sushi bar, decor, etc.). Pleasant location and overall “Japanese-ish” vibe. Quality of some dishes Certain items get praise: tempura (crisp, good batter), sushi rolls, etc. Ingredients are said to be “fresh” and there are Japanese chefs preparing the food, adding to authenticity. Fair-to-good value, depending on what you get While its not “cheap”, many feel the bentos and set meals give good bang for the price when compared to premium Japanese places. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱5,000+ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Wait time No wait ”

“ I was actually, somewhat hesitant to come back here. Last time I ate here was pre-pandemic. I was surprised that even after all this time, their quality of their food hasn't changed. What makes me like their food is their unique side dishes that you dont find in mainstream Japanese restaurants. You might see the usual white and red pickled radish, but here you get a good amount of veggies. From bean sprouts to seaweed, that are slightly pickled and sweet that resets your palate, making the whole experience refreshing. We usually order the Makonouchi Bento box, that has an assortment of sushi, veggie sidedishes, and some miso soup. I did notice that the service can be a bit slow (when i asked for the bill), and the atmosphere, although still ok.. It seems quite old, small, and has not gone through any renovations. Despite that, this place has some fond memories and their food is always good. ”

“ Their chirashi don is on par with Izakaya Kikufuji's! Will definitely dine here regularly since chirashi is my favorite! The chef is very courteous too! ”
